July 23rd Mixed Doubles Tournament

All teams for the tourney will be gender-mixed, though exceptions can be made in the 2.0 - 3.0 category, as we understand that our female members have a clear majority in numbers, and finding a male partner may prove difficult for them.  

We will again use the King's court format, with starting seeding determined by drawing cards. Rally point games will be timed to end at 10 minutes, with the winners moving up a court, and the losers moving down a court, with the exception of the top and bottom courts, where the winners and losers stay.  

Hot dogs, salty snacks, and fresh fruit will be available starting at 11 am.  
 

Registration opens on CourtReserve on Thursday, July 13 at 9:00AM.   

 

Teams may consist of two members, or one member and one guest.  Organizers reserve the right to change the skill level you registered for, which may be affected by the skill level of other registrants.  You will be notified if that happens. 

 

$10 per participant (i.e. $20 per team) cash fee will be collected on the day of the tournament at the registration table.  Shawnigan Lake Pickleball Club will proudly donate 100% of the proceeds collected  to the Paralympic Foundation of Canada.
